After 15 years of experience at the heart of various major wine houses (Jean-Pierre MOUEIX, DRY CREEK VINEYARD, CORDIER, BROTTE..) Serge MOURIESSE decided to set up on his own and created the Mouriesse Oenological Laboratory in Châteauneuf-du-Pape in 1998. This laboratory was accredited with the 17025 standard in 2000.

At the end of 2002, after 15 years spent at the Laboratoire Sabatier as head of quality and consultant oenologist, Véronique DAVID joined us as well as Michel PAULIN from Laboratoire O.C.S in 2003.

With the retirement of Michel PAULIN, a partnership was put in place with Emmanuel GAGNEPAIN, oenologist with VINECONSEILS, who brought his Burgundian touch of the team.
At the same time, the latest laboratory techniques have been developed (F.T.I.R., sequential enzymatique analysers...) in order to be both quicker and more precise.

A harmony has developed between the two sites, Right Bank – Left Bank of the Rhône.
The exchanges between oenologists have been fruitful and from this have emanated many common values, notably in the search for wines with identity.
